I recently stopped taking my birth control since I am trying to improve my libido. I am a 24F and have been off of the pill for about 4 weeks now (I’ve been on it for a good 11 years, I was put on it originally for acne treatment). All of a sudden starting last week, my armpits are smelling so bad and my deodorant does not seem to be working. I am not sure what to do. I am planning on switching deodorants (currently using degree womens shower clean) and have been starting washing my underarms with a benzoyl peroxide wash.

Is this something that is a normal effect of stopping birth control pills? Will it ever correct itself?

Any advice is helpful🥺 I feel so embarrassed.
