So yesterday I found out my brother (M22) got his girlfriend (F21) pregnant because her iud was inserted wrong and ended up moving up. She is 4 weeks pregnant but is showing early signs of miscarriage so she is getting an abortion. This news is crazy because this is my biggest fear (F19). They are okay with the decision that they made but today is her birthday and they found out about all of this YESTERDAY. I haven’t seen her yet but my whole family knows now and I just feel like things are going to be so awkward since this is a really hard time in both of their lives.
Any tips on how to be there for them while they’re going through this confusing and tough time?
