Hi, Often during sex, I’ll experience sharp pains that sometimes leave me in pain for days. It’s gotten worse probably the last year or two of having Skyla. This is also probably complicated by two Chlamydia infections that were treated fairly quickly I think (within 1 to 3 months). The last infection had constant cramping but I’ve been tested for PID and don’t have it. I had a full Ultrasound. Certain angles get really painful and I’ve never had sex without an IUD so don’t really have an angle for comparison. My IUD expired this month but doctor doesn’t really want to put me on pills as I am bad with compliance for other medicines and I already had a bad experience with Nexplanon. Is painful sex common with IuD ? Thanks
