So I'm pretty sure my IUD (Kyleena) has been dislodged. I got it about a year ago and have had no problems, but the past few days I've been bleeding/spotting and having worse cramps than usual. I've only gotten my period twice since my IUD has been inserted, and I typically never cramp when I'm on my period. I've also had a couple really sharp pains with my cramps. My string is also much longer than usual, but I don't feel any of the plastic part.

Basically, I'm just wondering how long I can go without seeing my gyno. I'm in college and it's finals season, so between work, class, and writing three 10-15 page papers, I just don't know when I would have the time until at least next week for an appointment.

TL;DR: Pretty sure my IUD is dislodged, but don't have time to go in to see my gyno. How long can I put this off for?
