Does herbal tea actually affect birth control?
Post Body

I am a heavy tea drinker and through my research when i first started birth control a few months ago I ran across a few articles that suggested that hibiscus, rose hips, chamomile, dong quai and even teas with high levels of vitamin c would mess with my birth control and make it less effective. I was a regular drinker of rosehips and hibiscus, and would have those teas daily but have been unable to in the past few months due to the fear of the teas making my birth control fail. Is it safe to start taking these teas again with no worries or is it best to continue to avoid them all together?
