Had the Mirena IUD put in 3 hours ago. Is this normal?

The insertion itself was a little painful but nothing I couldn't handle. Once I was dressed and walked to the front I suddenly got light headed/chills and nauseous. They told me to lay down and once it went away I left the doctors office. I had pretty bad cramps but I was handling it well. The thing that scared me was how emotional I am. I cried from the second I left the gyno until now. Anything is making me cry. My 6 yr old is being a 6 yr old and I'm irritated and just want to cry and cry.

Is this normal? Does this go away? I do not want this if the side effects are my mood swings.
