What to expect for bleeding after mirena?

I got a Mirena recently (switching from pill) and got it about a week after my period/bleeding on bc pill. After insertion, I spotted for a few hours and had some cramping. What can I expect for my first period with the Mirena? Will it just come in a few weeks(like about a month after my last cycle like a regular period?) all I’m seeing is that cycles can be wonky the first 3-6 months but when will my first cycle start? Will being on the pill before hand change anything?

Also, if you can get the cervical block (numbing) DO IT
