I was on the depo-provera shot for 7 years. Heard that it affects my bone density so I got off of it. Did nuvaring for awhile but me and my bf are too rough for that and have sex too often to take it out each time... I tried the IUD for a year and it made sex painful and never got better.

I've been having unprotected sex, just the pull out method, so far it's been fine and we are okay with the consequences if I do get pregnant but we are very careful. It's been 8 months so far with this method.

I am sensitive to medicine. I get skin reactions, and emotional. I really don't want birth control that will give me blood clots or give me great anxiety and depression. Anyone else very sensitive to medicines and have any good recommendations for pills?
