hawk visitor- and his actions and what is he really after?
Post Body

I have a hawk who comes to visit once a week He usually sits out on The one bush closest to the street, the only way that I know that he's here is because the trees across the street are where all the birds hang out and when they all start screaming and chirping at the same time I know that he's near.

Now my question is if he was interested in going after the smaller birds Why is he coming and hanging out on my one bush, why not go after them in the trees across the street?

I'm not sure if he's going after the bird feeder which is inches away from my window or if he's just hanging out waiting to possibly attack a bird going by the bird feeder? hes not come anywhere near the house or feeder.

I'm asking because I've been here for 3 years and this is the first time within the last couple months that a hawk has ever been seen , or been on my property, And again I would not even know that he's here unless Well the birds across the street weren't screaming at the same time.

I live on the wetlands and though I'm in a regular community a few houses down there's a river so just plenty of wildlife down there I'm just wondering why after so long he picked my house and he picked that one bush , anybody who's observed any hawks I'd appreciate a little insight Thanks.
