Hey fellow bird enthusiasts!

I’m planning a trip to Paris, France, next year in late May or early June. We’ll mostly be sticking to the city and using public transit, but we’re thinking of renting a car for a day or two to explore the countryside.

Does anyone have any recommendations for great birdwatching spots that are easy to get to by public transport, or within a short drive from Paris? I’m from Canada, so this will be a fun chance to see some new birds. I’d love any suggestions or tips you have!
