Is there anything I can do to help this peacock feel more at home in my yard?

This peacock showed up in my backyard about a week ago. I suppose its found it’s way here, searching for a mate. I don’t live in a very nice neighborhood and I’m worried he may fall into the wrong hands. He seems to spend most of his time in my yard and I want him to feel at home so that he doesn’t venture too far. Is there anything I can do to help make the yard it’s home at least until his next flight?
