My FAANG employer opened a Mental Health Anonymous email alias, and it's been very interesting to see all the posts. My biggest takeaway is that I'm not alone among my work peers with my condition and my day-to-day struggles. There are individuals being very candid about their pains - some of which are very acute with talks of struggles with substance abuse; being on the ASD spectrum and their unique work challenges; and others at breaking points and needing immediate hospitalization. I hope that those active on the thread are never exposed or find any form of backlash for their discussion of personal struggles. I hope also that this FAANG company is paying attention and taking note that the high stakes, high stress, more, more, 10X more attitudes are grinding even the healthiest "neurotypical" folks to mental illness - and worse, are driving others who have mental limitations literally to the hospital to be put on suicide watch.
