Love with bipolar2

Just wondering how y’all deal with love being bipolar. I’m only recently diagnosed so still working with my psych to figure out which meds work.. but I have a new relationship that I don’t want to mess up. Usually I will self sabotage and leave as soon as I can when I feel like I’m going through the depression phase. I don’t want to mess this up in the meantime, bc I already almost did. Does anyone relate or go thru something similar? Hope this makes sense 😩
