Questioning my Bipolar 2 diagnosis with change of medication. Is this common? Seeking any reltables experiences, not advice/suggestions on my diagnosis!

Post Body

I was diagnosed with Bipolar 2 over a year ago after a 3-month long intense manic episode where I was completely delusional. Before, I was just diagnosed with major depressive disorder, by which I was medicated with Lexapro. As many of you know and may have experienced, the SSRI most likely played a role in triggering a manic episode. Along with the episode, I have intense mood swings and have looked back to understand weeks-months of hypomania. My meds have adjusted a lot since my most recent diagnosis, but now I am taking a mood stabilizer: Lamictal.

Once my manic episode faded, I fell into a depressive state for gosh I don't know, 6 months? I haven't had any extreme manic episodes since the meds, maybe one or two brief periods of hypomania, but now I am questioning whether or not I am even Bipolar? Is this a normal concern?

EDIT: I am not asking for commentary on my diagnosis. I am just asking if anyone shares similar thought pattens.
