Unfortunately Dr Google doesn't help specifically, but I get touch and hearing hallucinations. Specific examples being the feeling as though a bug is crawling on me or that I just had a light nudge, and hearing someone speak a sentence or sentences. I am seeking professional help but want to help explain it to the psychs and dr is the fact I hear the voices as if someone is right behind me. It's not loud, as if it's normal volume and tone of voice. But as soon as I turn around it's gone. As well, as soon as I turn around I forget what the voice said. This last sentence being the most worrisome because its like I can't remember what was said, just how it made me feel. (Un?)fortunately they don't make me feel depressed any more so than normal, or any more anxious than normal. Like it's not someone telling me to do something. It's just a voice talking. Kind of like not paying attention to another person in the room and having to go "sorry can you repeat that". Or having someone have a conversation on the other side of the room whilst you're having a conversation with someone else. Can hearing hallucinations be like that where you just cannot remember or recall what was said? And only the fact it made you feel a certain way? (For me indifferent to prior to the voice)

For me it's a bit of a startle, as if someone is right behind me, but then knowing there isn't anyone there I just brush it off and move on. Until a few seconds later I realise and have to double back and go wait hold on a second. Then the anxiety and stress increase on the fact it's not there and it's my mind playing tricks.
