How do you remember to take morning meds if you sleep late?
Post Body

Soooo here's the deal. I take meds that aren't extended release, and as a consequence if I miss a dose I really really notice. It really fucks with my moods for a good while. It's also a med that's supposed to be taken in the morning because it's energizing.

But I am on semester break right now, and as a consequence I've been staying up later and sleeping in. If I forget my morning meds for a few hours during the semester, I end up taking them around noon or 1 pm, which is no problem. But if I forget for a bit after sleeping in late, it'll be 3 or 4 pm and I am loathe to take them because I'll be up all night and I am forever striving after a more normal sleep schedule. Thus, my effed up brain tells me to just skip the dose, and one skipped day always turns into 2 or 3 and then I'm just a mess.

So basically I just want to crowd source some tips of what you guys would do in my situation? Just bite the bullet and take the meds at 4 pm and stay up all night and accept the reversed sleep schedule. Skip a day but make a better effort to not skip more than 1 day in a row? Develop some system to wake up early, take the meds, then go back to bed? I just need a better solution than what I'm doing now.

TIA!

TL;DR I sleep in late and don't want to take my morning meds in the late afternoon since they keep me awake all night. What do?
