Professionals with bipolar, how do you cope when your mood is cycling and you have big deadlines?
Post Body

My job is very cyclical and I find that my busy seasons tend to line up with when my moods cycle (usually May and October/November). It feels so hopeless when I start to get depressed and my performance suffers. During these times I often think about quitting my job or trying to find a part time job but once Iā€™m back in control of my moods, I realize I want to continue with my current career.

I often worry that my poorer performance during depressive cycles will negatively impact my career, which adds to my stress when Iā€™m down. How do you guys cope with cycling moods when you have to perform at work? How do you deal with the self doubt surrounding your performance/career choices?
