I fooled myself into thinking I could handle taking my Latuda on an empty stomach because the restlessness with taking it after dinner was getting to me. Within a few days, my symptoms were returning full force. I didn’t put two and two together and rode it out for another two weeks. In that time, I almost broke off a serious relationship with my partner/child’s dad and got triggered by something small every day that would feel life-shattering. At one point, the paramedics and police got called to my house because my obsessions spiraled into a full breakdown.
I did some research and realized that it was because I was taking my Latuda incorrectly. I have snacks for tonight and I won’t be doing this to myself again.
Take care of yourself!
