Anyone elses brain fight against doing things that you know will make you feel better?

The easiest example is exercise. I love yoga, or I have loved yoga. And when I had a regular practice not only did my stability improve my overall happiness skyrocketed. I know how to start again, but my brain screams "NO I DON'T WANT TO! DON'T DO IT! SIT HERE AND FEEL LIKE CRAP!"

Another, less severe example is taking a shower. I know it will feel amazing but dragging myself to the shower and getting in feels like a war. I have to make myself do it while knowing I will feel awesome during and after.

What is up with that?!?!?!
