How long did it take to find a medication that works?

Post Body

I’ve tried a ton of antidepressants, risperidone, quetiapine, lamotrigine. None of them have helped except the antipsychotics to stop/prevent mania. All I care about is ending the depression and no medication has come CLOSE to it. Medication hasn’t done a single thing for my depression. The depression is debilitating , I can’t hold down a job or do university with it and any stress makes me suicidal.

I really got my hopes up for lamotrigine. I am going to ask my psychiatrist to try something new. I am currently on 600mg quetiapine , 300mg lamotrigine and 60mg duloxetine.
