What even is Mania vs. Hypomania
Post Body

I've been diagnosed as being bipolar and serious brain damage for about 15 years now and recently started going to a support group where I learned not only that hypomania is a thing, but that you can experience bipolar symptoms (particularly mania) on a smaller scale without it being a precursor to going into full on breakdown. I think I just thought my experiences were "normal". I'm still trying to figure out my triggers and currently the only one I've found is some kinds of music. What are your experiences/triggers? What's your definition of mania vs hypomania? Do you think people can have short bursts of mania/manic symptoms that lasts for just a few hours? Sorry this post is long I'm currently going through a phase of self discovery and am trying to learn what things I have in common with other ppl with bipolar or tbi (traumatic brain injury) folks 😊
