Iāve been off of mood stabilizers for the past six months after moving states, primarily because I havenāt had the time or resources to find and intake with a new doctor (which, FWIW, I know itās completely my fault for not prioritizing it, but itās been a ROUGH few months, mentally).
I had 6 months of prescriptions my doctor in the old state sent to CVS so Iād have some wiggle room before finding a new doctor. However, after I moved, CVS informed me that they couldnāt transfer those prescriptions across state lines. So I go without. I did it before, surely I can do it again? (I shouldnāt have. lol)
Well I finally got in with a new Doc, get the prescription, and turns out my local CVS doesnāt carry CAPSULES, but they have TABLETS, so they need a new script from my doc. BUT THEN, Iām told āyouāre fine for today, you have an old Rx for tablets here that we can useā and proceeds to USE MY OLD SCRIPT ACROSS STATE LINES.
The anger and annoyance Iām feeling at CVS rn is unbridled. Youāre telling me the last half year didnāt have to be as bad as it was??? Iām just thinking about all the good things I could have accomplished and all the bad things I could have avoided had I not been rapid cycling all fall.
I know Iāll chill down in a bit, but wanted to share this with someone who would understand.
