I’ve been through a lot of stuff, and every time I’ve had to figure out how to survive or pick up and leave a situation. My mania made everything that I needed to do so much easier. I was less afraid to ask for help and could work longer hours, and door dash throughout the night to get myself out. Has anyone had a similar experience?
I made a rash decision to move my husband, daughter and myself 500 miles away from our families for a job. I didn't keep the job, but being away from my toxic family was so beneficial to us and my daughter grew up so much stronger and better for it.
Without bipolar I'd still be there, 25 years later.
