I’ve had the diagnosis of bipolar for a little over a year now, and I want to know how you tell when you’re manic and majorly depressed.
I haven’t found meds to make me stable yet, so I want to be able to tell when I’m hypomanic. I was first diagnosed because I was hospitalized. Substance abuse magnified my hypo mania into looking manic. I truly do believe I’m BD2 because the only time I experienced “manic episodes” I was using something. (Alcohol/benzos)
The meds I’ve been trying have made me even more unstable. Because of this I’ve been having rapid ups and downs.
I think I’m not hypomanic or coming down from it because looking back at my behavior it screams mania. I made a fake reddit account and posted a fake story to get lots of attention, I get so irritated way too easily, and I’ve been snapping at my bf for no reason. Even thought he was cheating on me.
So how do you know you’re manic/hypomanic before it’s over?
