Waking up is always so hard

How can I wake up and not be so cranky and crusty and miserable? I am on lithium and it works really well for me. I’ve been on the same dose for over 5 years with no real issues other than some drowsiness, shakes, lower libido, and sometimes issues with stomach pain. I have to wake up really early so I try to go to bed early too. My partner gets up 1 hour - 1.5 hrs before my ideal wake up time for work, and when he wakes me up I feel so upset every time. It’s been going on for ages and I end up making him really cranky too often times. Would it help if I started to force my self to get up at the same time as him, and just accept it? I think at this point that is my only idea left
