I know I responded to a post posing this idea but I just wanted to see if music is helping others get through their mania or depressive episodes? Right now I am experiencing a lot of anxiety and depression and music has been one of the few things making me feel like life is worth living. I wake up blast songs and sing along as obnoxiously as possible and feel the serotonin levels rise. Haha. While waiting for the bus to go to work I sing along as well, like almost crying. I bet I look so crazy. Haha, But it is like I am clinging for hope I guess.
Any artists or songs in particular make you feel that way? Feel free to share! I love ALL genres of music but a song by Summer Walker ("Body"), Michael Jackson ("Love Never Felt So Good") and Mariah the Scientist ("Spread Thin") have been the main songs I've been listening to. Also just made a PinkPantheress playlist because I was singing the song "All My Friends Know" even in my sleep. My family told me. haha.
