I am so frustrated

I’ve been off work for 3 weeks now due to a manic episode that ultimately led to violent seizures due to a mix of circumstances. I applied for short term disability over 2 weeks ago and just now got this email saying they did the paperwork from and my pay could be delayed up to 2 weeks IF THEY EVEN APPROVE IT🙃🙃🙃 It’s literally just so not fair I’ve worked so hard since I was 16 working part time jobs and volunteering and i think just being a kind of decent person and I’m one missed paycheck from being homeless for something that is not my fault in the least My bf is a paramedic and literally can’t even get insurance coverage to go to the doctor when he needs it meanwhile he does ER discharges and hospital transports all day 48 hours a week I just hate this hopeless system And to add insult to injury the ER docs almost let me die except that I went to a different hospital. This has been the worst 6 months ever.
