So, this has, by far, been what sends me down the worst rabbit holes of my depressive episodes. My therapist suggested that I do research on attachment theory, and so I did. With my understanding of it, I would identify most of my life with an Anxious or Preoccupied attachment style. But now, I'm more on the Disorganized or Fearful-Avoidant style. Now, I know this is something I could further explore with my therapist, but due to circumstances, I won't be seeing him for another 2 weeks; how do I take this new identity, so to speak, and keep a positive mind with relationships moving forward?
For clarity, Iām diagnosed with type 1 bipolar.
