Hey there I am 33 m. Been bipolar for the better part of 10 years. My last major episode was in 2020. I haven’t been happy the last three years. Got out of the most toxic relationship and left my job (she lied about being married and my job literally told me that they did not want to “put up with my personal problem.”)
I am at another awful and over demanding job. I have a family member that lives in Europe. I have a chance to start a business over there making, in theory, 10 times as much as I do here with 90 percent more free time. What I would be giving up is my home (would need to take advantage of the housing market so I have capital to invest) and the security of living down the street from my family. I want to really be thoughtful about this move and don’t want anyone to say “hey this is just a manic episode you are having.”
I was wondering if anyone had any life experiences they could share about leaving their home to start something new far away. Accomplishments, trials, successes, downfalls. Any problem finding a doctor or getting medication? Anything would be helpful. Thank you in advance!
