Just wanted to share a victory of mine that other bipolar students will understand!
I graduated highschool and started college at the beginning of the pandemic, so things already weren't great. I would go the next couple of years in college constantly struggling with depression then suddenly having bursts of inspiration. Needless to say, my grades only stayed good for my first quarter.
I never even considered the fact I was bipolar until my psychiatrist noted that I had been having the up and down pattern for the past two years. I went into my last quarter with my bipolar treated and I just checked my academic report to see I finished the quarter with a 4.0 GPA! I'm just so proud of myself for doing this and I want other struggling students to know that there's really hope out there :)
