Hello!! I'm a college student who was diagnosed with bipolar a couple months ago. After getting on meds, my life is so much better and I've actually been doing well in school now that i'm not struggling with my constant ups and downs. But, my problem is I only seem to have enough energy to do the bare minimum.
I can complete all of my assignments on time and even early and I've always been on top of upkeep and cleanliness, but I just can't seem to have energy for anything else. I'm in my third year of college and I think that it's been overdue for me to start putting myself out there and engaging with other students in my major. I've always been a super introverted person, but I can go out and be social. The thing is since I allocate so much energy on just doing good in class, I don't really have energy to socialize and I can never seem to find a balance between the two; either I'm not socializing at all and my grades are amazing or I am socializing and I start to fall behind in class.
Do any other college students here have similar struggles? If so, do you guys got any coping strategies or other things that helped work it out for you?
