Has anyone who’s been on antipsychotics for 5+ years been able to reach and maintain a healthy weight?
Post Body
I’ve been on antipsychotics for 12 years and I will likely need to be on them for the rest of my life. I’ve made peace with this, but I hate being overweight.
When I started antipsychotics I was 155 lbs. In the years since, I’ve shot up into the 200s and have only been under 200 twice for a few months each time.
If anyone has been able to lose weight and keep it off, I would love to hear your insights.
What are your secrets/tips for maintaining a healthy weight on antipsychotics?
