Anyone else on Escitalopram and/or lamotragine?
hey all. long story..long,Im on both and tbh the Escitalopram helps w a sense of stability but overall makes me feel numb and blocked off. Im normally a free thinker and very open. I quit cold turkey at some point and while irritable, still was able to control my anger (I have an issue w bottling things up). Anyway, Ive been on both about a year and they really seem to keep me stagnant. While the lamotrigine really doesnt do anything. I get stuck in thought often. Zoning out. Im more irritable actually; no matter how hard i try theres a brick wall in my mind. keeping me from moving to the next thought. I dont even think about my hobbies, it makes me kind of reclusive. I spoke to my doctor and they just upped my dosage on both lol. I dont think im bipolar ( I dont want an internet diagnosis ) . I have cognitive disfunction that my doctor claimed was due to the bipolar but the medication hasn’t helped. just wanna know what I should do next.
