Freshman Majoring In Biotech

Good Afternoon
So this fall I am planing to major in Biotech. It was something that was interesting and caught my eye. I read it can lead to like jobs/careers to forensics or csi stuff. I would like to know about people that did major in biotechnology and how it was and if its good and stuff I should know. As a freshman im really new to everything and motivation is the one thing im trying to keep and I wanna know if im doing the right choice majoring in biotech, Thank you!
