Seeking advice on negotiating salary for a “Sr Manufacturing Associate” role at a mid-sized biotech company in a HCOL area.
Post Body

Hi! Currently have a Masters and 7 years of experience in biotech manufacturing across two companies with a current salary of $48/hr ( OT)

Got a final round of interviews coming up and curious if it’d be too much to say I’m looking for a pay of $60/hr. Highball the salary expectation and see if they come close.

Just wanna add taking this job would mean relocating literally to the other side of the US.

This is a company that has established longevity and specializes in FDA-approved patient-specific therapies instead of API manufacturing like Pfizer or Moderna.

Thanks again! Your advice is appreciated.
