HR said they'd give me an update by now

I had a series of interviews for a position I'm pretty excited about, and HR reached out to me last Friday to tell me that they're going to talk to the hiring manager yesterday and will reach out to me when she has an update. Still haven't heard from HR today, should I send them an email? If so, what should I say?
