Anyone else doing some soul-searching on the cost-benefit of dedicating yourself to your job? The ability to pull in $250k is pretty great. But leaving at 7:30 am and getting home at 8:30 pm most days, working some amount every weekend, no job security, challenges taking vacation - is it worth it? Does anyone make >$200k and have any semblance of work-life balance? This is in a biotech hub, so very HCOL, fyi. $200k doesn't go as far as you might think when you're mid-career, saving for kids' college, etc.
