This is a genuine question I've asked myself. So in short, I've read multiple times, that you (of course) cannot get pregnant from animals because of the whole chromosome number thing, but that an animal sperm cell theoretically can enter an egg cell.
In that process, the cell then appearently dies because something went terribly wrong in there (again, I read that ages ago on the internet, I have very little knowledge about reproductive biology. This is probably the point where this is not gonna work)
Is that true?
If yes, this would be a perfect solution for birth control without hormones or operation of any sort. Morally we seem to be safe, because animal sperm is already collected for breeding, the only weird thing about it is, that we'd need to do this on a much bigger scale and that you'd have to sell the concept of putting that stuff in your hooha is perfectly fine. But otherwise? I mean, the whole birth control thing is a huge debate, everyone is looking for a solution that doesn't harm the body in any way and if you put the whole weirdness aside, this isn't an entirely bad concept, is it?
