How to take care of an old & injured moth that can’t fly.

Post Body

I currently had a pet moth that is (old age) due to it not moving a lot & nearly died when I rescued it. It’s unable to fly due to it’s broken wings & recently it tried to fly from the flower it was resting on & now it broke it’s leg...

I feel like a horrible owner, seeing the moth’s wings deteriorate day after another & now a leg? I fed it honey once every 6 to twelve hours to ensure it’s never hungry but what else can I do without harming it even further?

It’s a Swallowtail moth I’ve rescued, it’s been 10 days living with me. Is it a sign it’s dying? It’s fur has fallen off & now this. What else can I do to not let it suffer?
