Hello! I’m a third year undergraduate student, and I’d love to work on something genetics related for my thesis since I want to take MS Genetic Counseling after, or maybe in the academe as well.
Would the undergraduate thesis be a determinant to what field you would be in the future? Say for example, if someone worked in coral reef restoration for their undergrad, it won’t exactly matter if they plan to do an MSci or PhD in mammalian studies?
And to the biologists here please wish me luck I hope I can make my prospect thesis adviser official 🥹 she’s working on coral breeding and i found it very cool 🥹
Thank you!
