I stg, half of biology is just being told “this is like this, but don’t apply it here, or here, and no those don’t fit in here either.” and “well yes, but no.”

I was thinking about the whole life origin debate, it’s interesting, because people seem to think either life developed from simple chemicals and slowly became more complex, or it came from somewhere else, and I just find it strange since I’m pretty sure even if it did come from somewhere else, it would’ve still had to develop, so both can be true at the same time and it’s really more of a debate of where life developed than anything.

Which is true with a lot of things in biology, There’s always an intermediate or an outlier.
