Getting to the bottom of my weight plateau
Post Body

Hi all, I’m hoping to get some good tips here.

I’m currently 70kg and 28/29” waist and want to get back down to 65kg and 26/27” waist. I’m 5’6”. Body fat around 23 percent based on online photos, so maybe inaccurate.

A couple years ago I did reach my goal by getting into weightlifting, fasting and high-protein diet etc. lots of Biohacker. Down from 80kg and 32” waist.

For some reason it slowly kept up to 70 and my body seems determined to stay here lol.

I eat 80% animal based high-protein, so meat, organ meats, cheese, butter, lard, fruit, some veg. Occasionally rice and potatoes. 20% I eat out, usually high quality restaurants meals high in protein, but also rich desserts. Very rarely i eat junk food or candy. I drink wine 1-2 times a week, sometimes none at all. Occasionally cocktails on holiday etc.

I usually fast 16-20 hours a day.

For exercise I work out 5/6 times a week, usually HIIT style with weights, weightlifting or short cardio. Mostly via Beachbody app.

Other bio hacks I do are cold showers, sauna occasionally when I have access to one. Longer deeper sleep, grounding and more sunlight could be improved.

I’ve taken a blood test recently and saw my T3 is low, as is progesterone, LH and FHS.

Any ideas on what I can adjust to get better results? I’ve been plateaued for about 6 months. Thanks for reading 💖

I would probably cut back on the cheese/butter/lard and replace it with fibrous veggies.
