Game freezes when I use the clicker with a certain character

So I’m trying to beat delirium with the lost to fill his post-it note. I thought that it’d be easier if I gave myself the items I want with tainted Cain and then use the clicker in order to get the lost. I used it twice and turned into tainted Maggiebut when I try to use it again my game freezes no matter how many times I try. Does anybody know why that happens or what I can do to overcome this? (I hope I typed the spoiler tag correctly)
