As many know, defeating Mom within 20 minutes will open up the Boss Rush room.
Be advised that the door to this room will disappear at 20.01 minutes even if you have defeated Mom already.
If you're short on time, defeat Mom, open the Boss Rush room and also get a Devil/Angel Room be sure to check your time before entering the Devil/Angel room!
While doing a run specifically for Boss Rush, I managed to kill Mom in time, entered the Devil room, and left the room at 20 minutes, 03 seconds ... the Boss Rush room disappeared as it was after the 20 minute mark.
Don't be an idiot like me.
