Any tips for Mother and Beast?

So im at the point where im playing through a bunch of characters and getting their unlocks by beating the various bosses. What I have yet to do is unlock Greedier mode, shopkeeper, bethany, lost, forgotten, the dual character (forgot name), and beat Mother and the Beast. I know they have to do with the alt floors which i have unlocked and gone down to the mausoleum but died unfortunately. Any tips on Items I should have before fighting them? Also how do you get to the Beast? I know how to access mom but not the Beast. Much love everyone!!!!
