I was watching a match between Jose Parica & Keith McCready from 2003 and the announcers made it a point to emphasize the awkwardness/uniqueness of McCready's "chicken wing" stance.
He's a switch-hitter and, regardless of which hand he's using, always has it crooked at the wrist and held far from his hip.
Despite that however, his shooting fundamentals remain intact.
Have you come across any players that have similar or more exaggerated stances? If so, did it hinder their performances? And how much does a player using a classical vs unorthodox stance matter to you?
