Cushion repair advice. Not replacement… if possible.

Post Body

This is for a Brunswick Sport King restoration project. These are the original Monarch cushions. There are no hard spots and except for this damaged portion, they are in good condition. Is there a glue that will remain flexible over the years that will repair this? Would a thin flexible cloth tape be a bad option. Once recovered, the cloth will do a lot to help keep it in place. Replacing may be the absolute best option, but good cushions are expensive and I’ve done cushion replacement before. It’s a pain in the a**.
