9โ€™ table compared to 7โ€™ bar table

Post Body

I live in an area without a pool hall. As such, all the tables at bars around me are 7โ€™ tables, mostly Valley. Iโ€™m casually shopping for a table, and have the space for a 7โ€™ or a 9โ€™. My question to long time players, is if a 7โ€™ table feels easier after practicing on a 9โ€™. Because most of my competitive play will be on 7โ€™ tables, I donโ€™t want to feel like Iโ€™m mis calibrated when I go to play on a 7โ€™ table after practicing on a 9.โ€™ Should i be looking for a 9โ€™ or 7โ€™ to keep at the house?

Edit: I appreciate the replies. After reading I think Iโ€™m going to go with the 7โ€™ Valley and have the pockets tightened. Iโ€™m never going to play in a league, just recreationally, and the nearest pool hall with 9โ€™ tables is 90 minutes away. Otherwise itโ€™s all bar tables. So practicing on what Iโ€™ll play with- minus the tighter pockets- makes sense to me for now. My thought was that going from 9 to 7 would feel like an advantage, but based on what everyone has said it doesnโ€™t really seem thatโ€™s the case.
