How much play on average does it take for Simonis 860 cloth to wear down and pockets tighten up on a Diamond Pro Am 7' table?
Post Body

My home table is a Diamond Pro Am 7' table with Simonis 860 and pro cut (4.5") pockets. I play on it maybe once or twice every two weeks for about an hour or two each time. My table was professionally installed by a Diamond distributor and it plays great. When I play in a local tournament at an establishment that has Diamond 7' tables with worn cloth and the same size pockets, I sometimes struggle with rattling balls and undercutting or overcutting balls. My table's cloth is still fairly new and accepts shots much easier than the tournament tables. I know that a lot of my issues are related to a lack of practice and inconsistent fundamentals but I am trying to make more time during the evenings to practice. However, how much play do I need to expect before my table's cloth wears down to the point at which the pockets play much tighter? I want to simulate the conditions of the tables I will play on during tournaments but I do not want to install shims or gimmicky pocket reducers that would make the table play funky.

For context, I have been playing competitive pool for over 15 years and I would consider myself a solid B level player. I don't have an established Fargo rating but my APA 8-ball and 9-ball handicaps were both 7 and my NAPA 8-ball and 9-ball handicaps were in the high 80s.

Thanks in advance for any advice or input.
