Wheel recommendation for a big guy who keeps breaking spokes?

Looking to replace my rear wheel on my Giant Escape hybrid. Currently have an alloy wheel with an 8 speed cassette. I've broken 3 spokes over as many months recently and LBS said if it continues I should consider purchasing a new wheel. I'm weighing in at 235 but then I have a pannier with lunch box, change of clothes etc. so probably closer to 250 after all is said and done. Tire is 700 x 32. Bike Specs are listed Here.
